"There have been a number of
discussions taking place behind the scenes re player recruitment to
strengthen our 2 squads to ensure 1st and 2nd X1 are well equipped next year.
We hope to start a "bring a friend "scheme ( may give you discount on your fees
- sorry Jenny - if this was done last year the club would probably owe you money
- but do feel free to bring some more).
We now need everyone involved to be
active in this area to bring more members to the club ( bonus points for
goalkeepers). I hope to set up some form of intro pack which is ideal for
prospective players, this can be emailed or printed what ever is easier. I will
also send out a revised poster which can be printed to A4 and I would ask that
you would each find a place to distribute this, whether it be round your gym,
leisure centre, university, local pub, shop etc - it is vital that we all pull
together on this one as a collective effort will bring greater coverage"
